‘Thrilling tales of the downright unusual’ is a personal project of Bradley W Schenck, and it certainly is unusual! Bradley has created an entire futuristic retro universe (Retropolis) in the form of interactive stories with fantastic illustration. You can get the full story on the official website, as well as see more of his illustration work on his deviant art profile.

I have assembled a collection of Bradley’s work for you to enjoy, I hope you like it as much as I did!

Dude! That would make an AWESOME video game! Thinking something along the lines of pre-fallout type setting!

  2. Jason Stone says:

I have to say I 100% agree! Just LOVE the style! (And fallout was awesome!)

  3. Todd Fowler says:

I love stylized view of what mid-20th century thought the world would look like, and you have a beautiful grasp of this , in your work. What a refreshing alternative this would be to “steam-punking”. I’d like to see a modern product done up the way they thought it would look like 60 years ago. Great work Jason!!!!!

@Todd – This is the work of Bradley Schenck (as stated at top of post) – I’m sure Bradley would love to hear your comments though! Links to his sites are in the text at the top of the post :)

  5. Todd Fowler says:

    Oops! Sorry…

  6. Look like 3d super heroes Comic trips (Marvel). Awesome works!
