1 Month on….

Design Stuff Daily has had a great first month – over 15,000 visitors and lots of requests from varying ‘creatives’ to be featured! But where to next? Due to the number of people requesting to be featured and the great work they have, this part of DSD will be staying. It gives a great platform for new and experienced designers alike to get their work seen, and inspire the design community at the same time. Some of my personal favourites are the work of Amelia Grace Hirst, Rob Sheridan, Holly Stanway and Richard Roberts. Do you have a suggestion of an artist / photographer you would like to see? Then let me know! (And yes, you can nominate yourself for inclusion!). If I like what I see, a featured post will be created!
But what else has been happening?
I have written a couple of design articles, ‘Design Planning Simplified‘ and ‘In search of Inspiration‘. There will be plenty more of these to come, if there’s a topic you’d like me to cover then let me know and I’ll see what I can do! If you want to get involved and feel you could write an article, contact me and we’ll see what we can do. There will also be more resources supplied this month, from free fonts to brushes and vector graphics which anyone can make use of.
What next?
Good question. Should not have asked myself this one… I have a few ideas to develop the site further, however as it’s still early days yet so the next few months should be fun! I will continue with the profiles as they go down so well, increase the number of design resource posts and create some new design articles, but what would you as a reader like to see on DSD? Any suggestions are welcome (and encouraged!) to make this a great resource for designers.
So, onwards and upwards as they say! I have some posts to construct… (and a cup of tea to make)
And don’t forget to follow Design Stuff Daily on twitter for daily resource and inspiration links!
Share the love!
